Garden State Koi Sells Wholesale

Garden State Koi is an Aquascape PRO pond distributor.  In simplest terms this means that when any water feature contractor in our area places an order they should expect to get what they need, where they need it, and when they need it.  Our wholesale customers expect this from us, but what is the “secret sauce” that makes it all work?


Making it all happen comes down to 3 core components:  Inventory, manpower, and vehicles.


Let’s talk inventory.  Garden State Koi is a stocking distributor, and we take this responsibility seriously.  At any point in peak season we have approximately $300,000 in inventory.  Yes that is a big nut, but it’s required to do what we do.   A contractor may call us on Tuesday for 6 check valves and a few dozen filter mats.  Their crews need these supplies for spring openings.  A contractor may call us on Tuesday regarding product and delivery for an 11x16 pond going in the ground on Friday.  Deadlines require inventory in stock.  You need it?  We have it!  And yes, we can get it there.


So we have the inventory…that’s a good start.  We’re in Warwick, NY and the contractor is in northern NJ, central NJ, eastern PA, Massachusetts…you get the idea.  More pieces are needed to put this puzzle together.  Fred Mayer and our full size Nissan van enters the picture.  Fred serves as the boots on the ground.  He gets product where it needs to go, he meets customers at jobsites, stores and homes.  He is the face of Garden State Koi wholesale across the northeast.  On any given day Fred may be delivering to 3 customers spread out across 2 states.  He gets product where it needs to go, fosters a team mentality with our contractor base, answers common questions, and addresses challenges that may arise.
